No doubt you’ve heard about the famous escape rooms, the latest trend in interactive entertainment. There’s nothing better than being locked in a room with your friends or family, surrounded by hundreds of objects, locks, puzzles, and 60 minutes of pure adrenaline.
WHAT DOES AN ESCAPE ROOM INVOLVE?
An escape room is, as the name suggests, a room where you’ll be locked in and must escape from. To achieve your goal, you’ll have 60 minutes and an endless array of objects to use in solving various puzzles, riddles, hieroglyphics…
Each of the Fox in a Box rooms has a different theme, so you can live the adventure you like best: break out of prison, rob a bank, escape the Zodiac Killer, find the cure for a zombie epidemic, or even stop World War Three!
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES LIKE?
The challenges you’ll find in an escape room are as varied as the rooms themselves. The most common challenge in Spain is undoubtedly padlocks, whereas in other countries, like Russia, more high-tech rooms are all the rage.
Inside the rooms, you’ll find a multitude of different objects that will help you overcome the various challenges and solve all the puzzles. When you solve a puzzle, you’ll find a clue leading you to the next one, but if you get stuck and can’t move forward, don’t worry too much. Your Game Master will always be watching out for you to help and make sure you have a great time.
WHO CAN PLAY AN ESCAPE ROOM?
Anyone can join an escape room—actually, the experience gets better when people of different ages mix. You don’t need to be a weightlifting champion or anything like that, since brute strength is totally out of the picture. The only thing you’ll need is to rack your brains like there’s no tomorrow.
The minimum number of players is two, while the maximum is six. However, if you’re more than six, you can split into two groups and play in two identical rooms at the same time in the Prison or Zodiac Killer themes.
It’s also trendy to hold team building sessions and even job interviews in an escape room, which helps you get to know your colleagues better. Plus, teamwork is essential to make your escape.
Every room is a new world, so you’ll never repeat or get bored. We can’t tell you more, but we promise that an escape room is an unforgettable experience. See you at Fox in a Box!
