At Fox in a Box we know a sleeping fox gets carried away by the current, so we have prepared a fantastic live event, in escape room style, around downtown Madrid: the Foxkana. Foxkana will take place on October 5th and will last approximately three hours. Don’t miss your chance!
FOXKANA, THE ESCAPE ROOM GAMKHANA
The Foxkana combines the world of escape rooms with gymkhanas. It consists of a series of challenges located in different spots around downtown Madrid. To solve them and become champions, you will need to use logic, some physical ability, and lots of humor.
At Fox in a Box we consider ourselves fun and witty, and the Foxkana is no exception! The event theme is «Back to the Past»: You wake up with a huge hangover and can’t remember the crazy things you did the night before. Retrace your steps and find out what happened last night to restore your dignity. Come on, it’s still not too late!
Since this isn’t a traditional escape room, the rules are different too. You’ll need to bring a fully charged mobile phone (or several) with the «fonKana» app installed, through which you will earn points. Although you’ll need to use your phone for some challenges, it doesn’t mean everything is done on it. Not at all! But we can’t reveal much more about that—that would be a spoiler, and we’re not into that. Besides this, you’ll need to form a group of 2 to 5 people.
The event starts at 10:00 AM on October 5th at the Fox in a Box located at Calle de las Infantas, 25, where you can pick up your passes, and from there, it will go like this:
• 10:45: Arrival at Plaza del Rey, where the Foxkana begins.
• 11:00: Start of the game.
• 13:30: End of the game.
• 14:00: Awards ceremony.
«Okay, I love what I’m reading. How do I participate?» First, you need to register for Foxkana (here). Then, just download the «fonKana» app and create your team. That’s it! All very easy and straightforward.
