Fox in a Box is a live and themed escape game where participants must interact with the elements of the room to solve puzzles, find clues, and carry out a mission within a limited time. It's a fun and dynamic experience to spend some time differently and live a unique adventure. Are you going to miss trying it?

We have 4 different themes. Our location on Calle Áncora has 6 rooms: two Life sentences, two houses of The Zodiac Killer, a Mastermind, and a Golden Nugget Saloon. In the case of a large group, you can play at the same time in our repeated rooms and see who escapes first!

Fox in a Box's prices start at 23,6€ per person and vary depending on team sizes. Please, have a look at bookings to find out more. Also, be aware that Fox in a Box is a live event and therefore once the booking is confirmed, refunds are not accepted. We accept all major credit cards or bank transfers.

Yeah! If you let us know with more than 72 hours before the day that you are coming to play, we will give you a voucher for the cuantity that you've paid when you did the booking, so you can use it on the following 3 months. You can also get an insurance that alows you to change your game up to 5 minutes before. We don't do refounds in any case.

You can come with children of all ages, although those under 6 may not fully enjoy it. If they want to come and play alone, the minimum age for a team is 15 years. All team members must be at least 15 years old. If any team of individuals under 15 years old shows up at the location without any adults, they will not be able to play. Younger participants can enter accompanied by one or more adults.

Team sizes can vary from 2 to 7 people. We don´t recommend 7 players in Mastermind or Golden Nugget. In case that you are more than 7, you can book one of our double rooms (Life sentence or Zodiac Killer). That way you can compete not only against time, but also against your friends!

Escape rooms are very enriching family activities. However, the rooms can be a little too complicated for the little ones, due to the difficulty of the puzzles and the settings, such as the Zodiac Killer. Nevertheless, all children under 15 can enter if accompanied by an adult. In case that at any time the kids don't want to keep on playing and would like to get out of the room or even not to play at all, they will always have to be with a adult. As for the price, 5-year-old children or younger do not pay entrance fee, while children from 6 to 9 years pay 5€ less (since they can participate and enjoy some of the puzzles.) Kids with 10 years or older pay the same as an adult.

You can arrive 15 minutes before the game time or earlier and enjoy something at our SpoilerBar Escape experience at Spoiler Bar, specialists in Craft Beer, the most enjoyable food in the capital, cocktails, and the best atmosphere in Atocha. We must note that our escape room is not compatible with alcohol, so if things get out of hand, we reserve the right to cancel the game without a refund in order to preserve the facilities (and spare you a bad experience).
Also, please remember that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may cancel your game.

Our games are complex, but not impossible! In case that you have never played an escape room game before, we recommend our wonderful Life Sentence or Mastermind, although this does not mean that they are easy. In Fox in a Box we love challenges! On the contrary, if you think that you are experts escapists, we recommend you to try our Zodiak Killer or Golden Nugget Saloon!

Unfortunately no, you cannot pay separately. If you have only paid the reservation cuantity, you will have to pay the remaining quantity at our place all at once. That quantity will vary depending on how many players come to have fun with us and you can choose to pay either with cash or card.

That's a done deal! At Fox in a Box, we love making life easier for everyone. If you're a college student, use your code FOXESTUDIANTES and you'll get a 15% discount (each university cardholder can book ONLY one room, if you book more than one room at the same time you should show a student card for each room). All codes are valid from Monday to Thursday (except holidays and eve of holidays) and cannot be combined with other offers. It is necessary to present the university card at the venue upon arrival. Additionally, we release specific offers on certain dates; you can check all our offers and more details on our Instagram or Tiktok Tiktok accounts, and don't miss out on a unique experience. Also, depending on the day and time, prices may be lower or higher, so check the calendar for different sessions.

If you give an experience like Fox in a Box to your friends, they will be forever grateful. Just click "Gift Box" on the menu and choose the one that fits your needs. As cool and easy as that! When you're buying a Gift Card, you have to choose the number of players that you want the experience for. There will be a Voucher Code on the Gift Card that must be used during the booking process. The person will have to choose the date, hour and the room that they want to play. At the moment of the payment, there will be a place to insert your Voucher Code. The voucher can be used withing a year. If the Card expires, you can write us or call us asking for an extension of 3 months. It costs 20€ (you can pay it by bank transfer or in our establishment.)

In Fox in a Box we can carry out our games in English and Spanish. It is true that once inside the room you can speak any language. But for the introduction, in which we give instructions about the game, and for the interaction with our Game Masters during the game, knowledge of English or Spanish by at least one member of the group (and, if possible, by all players) will be necessary. Remember this, it could be very important for your game.

Our venue on Calle Áncora is accessible since it has a bar, but the only room that could be played with a wheelchair is Mastermind, due to the space and the type of challenges. On the other hand, Cadena Perpetua, Zodiac Killer, and The Golden Chicken Saloon have challenges and areas where you need to crouch, steps, or small spaces, making them unsuitable for people with reduced mobility and not accessible for wheelchairs in any case. If someone has reduced mobility, we will need you to send us an email to confirm it. Pregnant women can fully enjoy the game without any problem, as it does not require physical exertion. Although Zodiac Killer is not a horror room, it include some minor jump scares; we do not recommend them for children under 14 or people particularly sensitive to scares. Additionally, there are chairs available to rest inside the rooms if needed.

Fox in a Box has taken room escapes to the next level. In our Mastermind and Golden Nugget Saloon you need to complete a specific task within the time given, so the main door is actually unlocked the whole time. But, in Life Sentence and the Zodiac Killer rooms, the doors are blocked because of the theme of the game. Nevertheless, those rooms have panic buttons that can be pressed in case someone needs it. Additionally, our Game Masters are always attentive to your needs and can open the door at any time. Claustrophobic people can enjoy our games and leave at any time if they choose to do so. We have had many claustrophobics but our games are so much fun that they never want to leave! People with medical conditions can also visit the restrooms during the game.
